Ages: Incoming 6th Graders
Program Description: An academic intervention program that provides encouragement, support, and academic advising to middle and high school girls to ensure that they meet grade-level competencies and graduate on time through a combination of life-skills workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and small group advising.
Informed, In Charge, and In Action
Ages: 6th – 12th grade girls
Program Description: An advocacy program for high school girls that focuses on a specific and tangible problem that the participants identify and then work to solve through their leadership, activism, and community action.
Strong, Smart, Bold
Ages: Incoming 6th Graders
Program Description: A life-skills education program that provides comprehensive social and emotional learning in the areas of mind and body positivity, healthy relationships, substance abuse and avoidance, leadership, nutrition, and health education. The program combines multiple aspects of what it means to grow up strong, smart, and bold.
Literacy Lab
Ages: Incoming K – 3rd Graders
Program Description: A hands-on, interactive program designed to ensure that girls meet grade-level reading standards by 4th grade. The program uses engaging activities to promote phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, and reading fluency and inspires a lifelong love of reading.
Logic Lab
Ages: Incoming 3rd – 6th Graders
Program Description: A hands-on, interactive math-support program that works with girls in upper elementary grades to build numeracy, computation skills, and problem-solving skills. The program utilizes math and digital manipulatives, applying mathematical problem-solving to real-world situations.
Smart-Ups
Ages: Incoming 1st – 6th Graders
Program Description: Our elementary entrepreneurship summer program that teaches girls about the principles of economics, merchandising, entrepreneurship and finance and culminates with the launch of their own pretend businesses.
