At Girls Inc. of Orange County, we are committed to empowering the next generation of leaders through a variety of non-school based opportunities.

We offer enriching programs beyond school partnerships, open to all students seeking to enhance their learning or access opportunities not available at their schools. Led by our skilled educators, these programs are available either virtually or in-person, at convenient locations throughout Orange County, providing flexibility and accessibility for every participant.

EARLY LITERACY

Our literacy programs empower girls with strong reading and writing skills, fostering a love for learning and critical thinking in a supportive environment.

Bedtime Storytime

Wind down weekly with a cozy virtual storytime led by Girls Inc. staff. Perfect for sparking imagination and ending the day with the magic of books.

Grades: K-5
Dates: Year-round

Literacy Lab

Build literacy skills with activities that inspire confidence and a lifelong love of reading. Featuring female-led stories, progress is tracked with the nationally recognized Acadience tool.

Grades: TK-5
Dates: October-April

ADVOCACY

We empower middle and high school students to advocate for themselves and their communities, cultivating leadership and social impact.

Eureka! Council

Explore advocacy through self, peer, systemic, and community-focused topics. Develop leadership skills and engage in service projects to drive positive change.
Grades: 7-9

Generation Giga Girls (G3)

Learn data analysis and advocacy skills to address community issues. Through topics like equity and ACEs, gain transferable skills for future careers and studies.

Ambassadors Program

Represent Girls Inc., while developing community projects and gaining leadership skills through meetings, guest speakers, and field trips.

We help students explore passions, set goals, and prepare for bold futures through college readiness and career exploration.

College Bound

A comprehensive program supporting higher education pursuits, culminating in Grad Lab for 12th graders to guide college applications, essays, and test prep.
