SCHOOL-BASED PROGRAMS
At Girls Inc. of Orange County, we are committed to empowering the next generation of leaders through a variety of in and out of school programming.
Girls Inc. of Orange County works with local Orange County school districts, charter schools, and private academies to provide in-school programming. Through these partnerships, we deliver research-based curricula that empowers girls to reach their full potential. We focus on the development of the whole girl. She learns to value herself, take risks, and discover and develop her inherent strengths. The combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a pro-girl environment, and research-based programming equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers, and grow up healthy, educated, and independent.
For interested school administrators and partnership coordinators, we offer a variety of programs for students in these topics:
- Mental Health
- Literacy Skills
- Advocacy
- Media Literacy
- STEM Exploration
- Health Education*
- Financial Independence
- Workforce Development
- Career Exploration
- College Readiness
*Our Healthy Education programming is age-appropriate and follows standards set through the California Healthy Youth Act, AB329.
We also offer Parent/Guardian Workshops in these topics:
